MELON BALLER
A melon baller, formally called a Parisienne scoop, is a small spoon-like tool used to cut round- or oval-shaped sections of melon, known as melon balls, by pressing them into the melon's flesh and rotating. It can also be used to cut other soft fruit and ice cream. The diameter of a melon baller's bowl varies from around 1 centimeter to 3 centimeters (about 3/8 inch to 1 inch), and it is typically made of stainless steel with a handle of wood, metal, or hard plastic. Some varieties have the handle in the middle and a different-sized bowl on each end, and the bowl typically has a small hole in the middle to allow air and juice through. It is more commonly known as a prepping utensil. Melon ballers can be used for a variety of melons; like watermelon, cantaloupe, or honeydew. They typically are multifunctional utensils.

PASTRY BLENDER
A pastry blender is a cooking utensil used to mix a hard (solid) fat into flour in order to make pastries. The tool is usually made of narrow metal strips or wires attached to a handle, and is used by pressing down on the items to be mixed (known as "cutting in"). It is also used to break these fats (shortening, butter, lard) into smaller pieces.
There are several alternatives to using a pastry blender. One is to work the fat into the flour with the fingertips, though this requires having a good "touch" and knowing just how lightly to work the fat into the flour without melting it. Another is to use two table knives like a pair of scissors, one knife in each hand. A third is to use a food processor.

CAKE SERVER
A companion utensil to a cake knife, the Cake Server is used to place pieces of cut cake and pie on plates to be served. Often paired as a set with a Cake Server and Knife, this piece of silverware is most often made of plated silver or stainless steel, but can also be made of wood or plastic as well. The Cake Server is made in many different shapes and sizes, with a flat serving surface that is triangular shaped and attached to a straight or bent handle. Typically, the traditional servers used for formal events such as weddings, anniversaries or funerals will have a straight handle and will be made of either stainless steel or silver plated. Plastic and wood are generally a type of material that is used for general purpose serving duties or for casual parties.
