WALK IN REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator (colloquially fridge or
fridgefreezer in the UK) is a popular household appliance that consists
of a thermally insulated compartment and a heat pump (mechanical,
electronic or chemical) that transfers heat from the inside of the
fridge to its external environment so that the inside of the fridge is
cooled to a temperature below the ambient temperature of the room.
Refrigeration is an essential food storage technique in developed
countries. The lower temperature lowers the reproduction rate of
bacteria, so the refrigerator reduces the rate of spoilage. A
refrigerator maintains a temperature a few degrees above the freezing
point of water. Optimum temperature range for perishable food storage is
3 to 5 °C (37 to 41 °F). A similar device that maintains a temperature
below the freezing point of water is called a freezer. The refrigerator
replaced the icebox, which had been a common household appliance for
almost a century and a half. For this reason, a refrigerator is
sometimes referred to as an icebox in American usage.
The first cooling systems for food involved using
ice. Artificial refrigeration began in the mid-1750s, and developed in
the early 1800s. In 1834, the first working vapor-compression
refrigeration system was built. The first commercial ice-making machine
was invented in 1854. In 1913, refrigerators for home use were invented.
In 1923 Frigidaire introduced the first self-contained unit. The
introduction of Freon in the 1920s expanded the refrigerator market
during the 1930s. Home freezers as separate compartments (larger than
necessary just for ice cubes) were introduced in 1940. Frozen foods,
previously a luxury item, became commonplace.
How to Clean Up ?
The best way to clean the refrigerator
After all cleaning products and supplies are ready, it's time
to think about how to clean the refrigerator. Here are the steps you
can guide:
1. Although it sounds trivial, remove all the food before you start
cleaning the refrigerator. Even if you use natural products, you
certainly do not want to clean up activities to be not free. Empty
refrigerators make it easier to clean and reduce the possibility of
contamination.
2. Remove any removable parts, such as drawers and shelves. Fill a basin
with warm water and dish soap, such as Sunlight, to soak the parts
before wiping and rinsing.
3. Wipe the entire outer surface and inside of the refrigerator using
wet wipes or a clean cloth moistened with a mixture of dishwashing soap
and warm water. Use a quality microfiber cloth or sponge so as not to
leave fibers in the refrigerator.
4. For stubborn stains, mix a little baking soda powder with a little
water to produce a thick mixture. Apply this mixture to the stain and
let stand for one hour before wiping it with a damp sponge or cloth.
Soda baking powder makes stains easier to wipe clean.
BREAD SLICER
Sliced bread is a loaf of bread that has been
sliced with a machine and packaged for convenience. It was first sold in
1928, advertised as "the greatest forward step in the baking industry
since bread was wrapped". This led to the popular phrase "greatest thing
since sliced bread".
How to Clean Up ?
In Caring Bread Slicer should be done periodically :
1) Clean the scraps of fresh bread underneath and inside the Bread
Slicer once a week. Before doing the cleaning we should first unplug the
power plug from the outlet.
2) Lubricate the bread knife with cooking oil once a week. This
lubrication is done to keep the bread knife to stay sharp. But hati2 in
the process of lubrication, because the bread knife is very sharp.
3) Spray with WD40 or other lubricating fluid to lubricate bearing and drive lever in Bread Slicer.
COOLING RACK
A cooling rack or cake rack is a kitchen tool used
primarily to allow various cooked items such as breads, cakes, meats etc
to be placed and cooled or rested immediately after the cooking
process. If a cooling rack were not used, then it is likely that a
build-up of moisture would occur on the base, spoiling the integrity of
the finished product.
Cooling racks are available in a multitude of shapes
and sizes, including multi-tier, collapsible versions. Sometimes it may
be useful to spray a cooling rack with a thin coating of oil to prevent
sticking.
A cooling rack (also known simply as a wire rack) is
used to allow air to circulate freely to cool baked goods, and to
prevent them getting soggy from condensation. A tight grid is typically
the best format for a cooling rack, to prevent thin baked goods from
breaking or falling through. An alternative is often to flip the baked
goods upside down and leave them in the original hot pan.
How to Clean Up ?
If the cooling rack is used for watering liquid
chocolate, you should place a paper-coated tray or baking paper that is
larger to accommodate the remaining chocolate liquid under the Cooling
Rack or this cooling rack. When there is any leftover chocolate that
melts onto the bread or baking paper, just let it cool. Once cool, the
melted chocolate that has been frozen can be dredged for storage and use
again.
Choose a quality cooling rack, especially from
materials that are anti-rust or stainless steel because the cakes will
be in direct contact with this cooling rack. And do not forget to always
clean the remnants of cakes attached on the sidelines of cooling rack.
